These plates have a beautiful texture, ( a stamp was handmade from a seed pod from a Banksia Australian native plant) glazed in a satin in the interior surface the rim and exterior has been left un glazed, which makes for a nice contrast.
The smaller plate has been fully covered with glaze on the rim.
